I have an unweighted 3.73 GPA out of 4, and a weighted 3.82. I’ve only taken a couple honors classes throughout high school (Chemistry and Math 9) and no APs, but I’m going to be taking two APs my senior year (Economics and Psychology). I’ve taken the ACTs once so far and scored a 29 Composite with a 9 out of 12 on the writing, and I hope to bring that up to at least a 30 on my second go-around. I’m a pretty rounded student as I have been on missions trips to 3 different countries over the past 4 years, helping to build homes for poverty stricken people and help AIDS patients etc… I am very involved in my school’s music program (4 years of marching band, drumline, pep band, jazz band, percussion ensemble etc…) and have had many acheivments in the area of music. I’m not sure about class ranking, since my high school doesn’t rank. I am also planning to apply Early Decision. So do I have a shot?
