Difference Cal State or UC or ONLINE for Masters Accountancy Accounting??

I want to enroll into a Masters of Accountancy. What is the difference between CAL STATE and UC programs besides the significant cost difference. > Will one make me more money than the other?? Does one have an advantage at getting hired easier?? Do employers really look at where the degree was earned? (ex. phoenix college online vs. uc vs. cal state)…

I currently have 0 years exp. in accounting yet I earned a BS in Business.

ALSO-whats difference: “MBA/Accounting” and “MBA” and “Accounting” … This is all confusing to me.

MBA is not accounting necessarily (usually more management oriented).

Some employers look at where you go to school (specific school)…all look at the level of the school. Meeting licensing requirements (depending on what type of accounting you plan on doing) can be more important than where you got your degree.

There are good on-line programs at some very reputable schools. Phoenix online is not one of them.

If you have another choice pick any UC program or even out of state universities (sometimes out-of-state tuition in another state can be less expensive then in-state), and private schools. Grants/scholarships will help significantly.

If you plan on going into an area that requires a license, go to school in the state you plan on working in (it’s easier than trying to meet a different state’s licensing requirements on your own or after the fact).
