College choices?

I want to go to college around New England as that is where I live. States around it are fine too, like NY or D.C. But not out west or in the south. What are some good colleges for females to go to? What colleges have good and healthy food? Best dorms?

MA: Williams (top liberal arts school in the country–but COMPLETELY isolated–literally in the middle of the woods); Amherst; Mount Holyoke (all-girls, but beautiful dorms, beautiful campus, and amazing teachers–part of the “Seven Sisters,” which is the female equivalent of the Ivy League; also part of a consortium with Amherst that also includes Smith, Hampshire, and UMass Amherst); Tufts; Boston College; Wellesley (also all-girls, but a bit isolated–people party at MIT and Harvard, both about a 1/2 hour away); Emerson (good communications/journalism program); Harvard

NY: NYU; Columbia (very strict requirements–you can’t really take the classes you want until about sophomore year); Syracuse (huge party school; good honors program)

PA: Bryn Mawr (all-girls; known to be more “lesbian” than other girls’ schools); Swarthmore (nicknamed “Workmore”); Haverford; Villanova; UPenn (huge school; not located in a very nice area)

CT: Connecticut College; Fairfield University; Yale

D.C.: The George Washington University (no real campus); Georgetown
