college BEFORE culinary school?
should I go to college before I go to culinary school? Are the regular academics at the culinary schools worth the money or is going to a normal college beforehand a better choice?

depends. if you want to save money.. or just go to a college like normal people.

Culinary college is a commerce college, you will not take coursework in Psychology, English, historic previous etc. you will get a level, yet not one such as you will possibly get in college.

I think they are reluctant to accept people who don’t have college degrees. I would recommend a undergrad degree in Nutrition/sports science or Business.
