This means if you are applying for a different undergraduate program. For instance the acclerated program can get you an undergraduate degree in 3 years rather than the regular 4 years. The dual or joint programs, there are only a few, normally relate to a dual pre-med and science degree or engineering and _______ whatever. These are for really smart, boring people who want to make a couple hundred thousand when they graduate. But if you going for english, business, or any regular undergraduate degree, then you dont have to worry about it.
PS, if you dont know what those mean, then you dont have to worry your not in the programs. Alot of people who are in the programs, pick the particular school because they have that set program for them.

Many universities have cross-college programs; for example one university may have a program that allows you to major in a health management program, which combines classes from their medical and business school. You need to do more research on the individual school to see if you are interested in one of these programs that the school offers. They are often very prestigious and if you don’t get in to the program you can still be admitted into the regular College of Arts and Sciences, or whatever college you are applying to.
