You should not have a problem into getting into these schools assuming you have ex ta-curricular activities, write a good admission essay, have good references and score well on your SAT’s.

In general the recommendation is to apply for schools that are safe for you. as well as schools that are a reach. No one really knows for sure what he future will bring. It therefore, is wise to hedge your bets.

Do not pay much atttention to Xavier61!!! See the thing is that although most good universities accept students with high GPAs it is not necessarily true that ALL their students have high GPAs. As a matter of fact most good schools like students who are well rounded so im glad you play sports and joined clubs and the fact that you took AP classess while doing extra-curriculars is going to look great. Im pretty sure the schools you mentioned have a personal statement or some form of essay you have to write as part of the application process so def make sure you get help on it, maybe a good English teacher or something. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT leave this to the last minute and most def get it profread. I cant emphazise enough how important this essay is to your application. This is your spot to shine and explain to them why maybe you have the grades you do or any struggles that you had to overcome. So do not let your GPA play a major factor in the schools you choose to apply…apply to all the schools you want to get into, and maybe even some safety schools just in case, and see what happens…the worst thing is to ponder about what if you would have applied. So remember get help with that essay and apply!!!!

P.S. I go to UC Berkeley and despite popular belief not everyone has a 4.0 GPA trust me Ive met people with 3.5s or lower….

You seem to have good grades, and as long as your SAT scores match the rest of your profile, you should be in good shape.
