Buisness degree… is this a good plan?
im 17 about to graduate from high school. im just now starting to plan out what im going to do. well my plan so far is to get some kind of business degree (but i dont know exactly what i need to get to be like a manager or something) and then eventually open my own business/store once i get experience and save some money. Is this a good way to become an entrepreneur or is there a better way to start your own business and be successful ??

I think you have a pretty good idea. Since you are so strongly into the business world get a business degree and make sure you get plenty of study in knowing how to manage money in a small business workplace and of course in a larger business.
Then during those college years work at finding the kind of business you think you might like to get into. Maybe working part -time or in the summer in one of those businesses.
Then when you get out go back into that same business and work from the ground up doing every chore necessary to understand the business. If you do this and have real enthusiasm this will be noted by owners or managers and you will self propel yourself to higher levels. Honesty, educated, and interested in your product or service and customers will guarantee success.

Yes a business degree is a good idea! I just got my BSBM from UOP and alot of doors opened for me.
