what should i major in if i want to work for apple computers?
i know engineering, but what kind of engineering and would marketing or advertising be good too?

I don’t think that you should concentrate in just one employer and work in being wanted by a lot of them. Think of a career in computer industry rather than a job fixing computers. What it is that attract you the most? Computers or computer manufacturers?. You can work on both if you major as a software or hardware engineer, website design, network administrator or IT professional. Any one of those careers can lead you to a great job in any part of the computer industry.

It depends on what area you want to work in. If you are interested in designing products, then something technical like computer engineering would help. If you wanted to help with the company’s business activities, you could major in anything from marketing to business administration.
