There are just so many…. any of the big football schools will have a solid marching band.

USC Trojans

Purdue (they have the biggest bass drum)

Notre Dame

Not a college but great bands if you’re good enough to get in:

United States Marine Corps

United States Army

You will love it or hate it. It is definitely different than H.S. Usually an hour a day, and playing at home games. Some times you travel with the team. If you are at a major school that goes to a bowl game you will most likely go. Some schools give you PE credit for Marching Band.

UMass-Amherst is the best I have seen and heard in years. The leadership is solid and with almost 400 marchers on the field it is hard to believe the sound and the movement of so many. I went to school at Iowa and have seen many big ten bands. UMass is the most impressive.

although i’m just a freshman in highschool, i cant imagine my life without marchign in it @ this point.

i wish i could help you..i think USF would have a good marching band, because my marching coach/director/teacher went there…(I <3 Woodfin! haha) so it MUST be good. good luck! hey, maybe i'll see you there!
