that’s a degree you would want to transfer to a four year university to get a bachelor in arts (BA degrees include English, History, Language, Religion, Political Science in some colleges, etc etc)

There’s not really a whole lot you could do with just an associate in arts – it’s really a degree that’s meant to transfer.

Truthfully, I doubt that a two-year degree in a little bit of this and that (which is basically what General Arts is) is going to be of much value to you career-wise all by itself.

Use it as a stepping stone to moving on to getting at least a Bachelors in a more focused area based on what your long-term goals are for yourself.

It is the first step towards higher degrees. Now you can go for Bachelor degree. Experience is the ultimate step in getting success, so go for the job you prefer. It is not necessary to explain your Associate degree just answer applications as to education classification.

Rachel is spot on. the AA helps you get the BS out of the way so you can concentrate on your major.
