Heifer International is an organization that provides both animals such as cows, chickens, goats, etc. and training on how to raise those animals, to impoverished peoples across the world so that they may use them as a source of food, and as income providers.
People who donate to their organization can either donate a specific animal to a specific country, or donate money so that the organization may select the proper animal needed in a specific country. You can also donate money for a portion of an animal, if it’s one that is very expensive.
