What would you do?
I am a female teacher teaching in a foreign country and the male students always say the dirty words to me like F U etc…they are not serious like in a joking way but I think it not good they always say things like I want to F U…etc. They are junior high students. I know its the only English they learn and can say…lol

explain that to you those words are mean and hurtful, they probably don’t understand how those words make you feel. give them other words to learn, like crud or something else, not so bad.

Does your school not have a discipline plan? Show them you mean business and that you will not tolerate their poor behavior. Follow whatever the discipline policy is. Be sure to “catch them being good” and praise them when they are acting appropriately. Make it a class rule that all poor language will be left at the classroom door. Good luck.

punish them the way you would american kids.
disrespect is universal and shoud be treated the same.
they want to say english words then they need to know what they mean.
honesty is the best.

uh can you not send them to the principals’ office or tell them you will call their parents or take away points or keep them after class or …more homework for everybody because of the person that says it…. 🙂 that way every body will be mad at that kid and tell him or her to stop…………….you know that kind of threat style teachers usually use…… hey if nothing else works…
