The kindergarten play yard is not as engaging in my opinion as there is a play structure to climb on and that is it. The kids (3 classes almost 60 kids) run around like banshees and then get in trouble for play fighting or get hurt running into each other. I am looking for ideas that are cheap/ free to provide some organized activities or additional activiites besides just running around for kids to make it safer and more fun for those students who are just overwhlemed by the chaos. And how to get other teachers to buy in as they see this as a break for them and don’t want to organize anything?
