You both could demonstrate that it is still possible to have an interesting conversation face to face without having necessarily to agree or to disagree in what is being said.

Demosntrate that the actual fact of paying attention to another person and exercise active listening give a positive feed back that encourages understanding, tolerance, acceptance and confidence. Not to mention the exchange of useful information.

You could select some topics that relate to your particular environment and develop your class demonstration from there.
