i believe that children should spend more time studying math than computers. Computers is just a tool to make work easier for us. But still its just a product of human’s great minds. while mathematics is the source of logic and thus gives a very good foundation for decision making.

basic math as a colleague of mine used to say calculators are the great equaliser they make everyone stupid. How is the student to know that the answer is wrong if they don’t have the basic foundations. If you want another reason how many times have you gone to the shops and the clerk looked at you dumbfounded when you tell them the total is wrong.
