As far as other team building exercises, I am not a gym teacher. I haven’t led kids in team building P. E. activities, but I have seen a couple of activities before. We went on a camping trip for a field trip and the kids did team building exercises like trying to get everyone over a single rope without touching the rope. That was pretty hard, but the kids worked together while trying. You could also have a group of kids try to get each other through a hanging hula hoop without anyone touching the hula hoop. They used a tire swing at the camp.
Good luck!
Another game is called “Ha ha”. It works on self control and team building.
Everyone lies down on the floor, one person starts, and the next person lays their head on the first person’s stomach, so on and so on. You can do this with any amount of people, but its better for younger kids for it to be a smaller group.
One person at one end starts and says ‘Ha’. The next person says ‘Ha ha’, and the next person says ‘Ha ha ha’, so on and so on. They have to do this without laughing, and if you laugh, you have to start over.
Its pretty fun, actually!
Good Luck!
