A Freak Like Me

I need a maths tutor…?

Can anyone help me with my maths through email?? I’m a Form 6 Pre-u1 student from Brunei and right now I’m learning Differentiation but I don’t really understand when it comes to Rate of Change… Can anyone explain to me how to do it?

You might be better off getting professional help, rather than some random person online…

A Form 6 student is a pre-university level in Brunei. If you don’t understand math, hiring a private tutor for one-on-one tutoring is the best way to go. However, if money is an issue, you can opt for online tutoring instead. Try some online tutoring services like:

1) http://www.tuitionplaza.com/tutoring/ – tutoring by retired teachers and volunteers (free)

2) http://www.tutor.com – tutoring by professional tutors (not free)

3) … and many more (use search engine).

Think ouside the box and you’ll have more options! Good luck!

well.. with my limited knowledge of calculus, the rate of change (assuming you’re pertaining to momentous rate of change) is the rate of change when the difference in time (delta T) is reaching 0. This is usually referred to as a limit.

I don’t know remember much of the details partly because I learned it in another language and they have some terms that I can’t translate to English.

edit: please don’t post things that are not even helping just to farm for points. Answer a question. That’s what this service stands for.

Do you need a help with homework!! It’s not good idea to talk with strangers on the internet by emails, but if you post your problem’s question here; sometime you might get help. It depend on how you post it. If you post up the whole homework then you might not get help because no one like to do someone else homwork for them. If you post how to do it then you might get lucky and get some help.

That was helpful, Holdera, I’m glad you typed that.

Kid, if you think you need a “maths” tutor, you might need a lot more than that.
