What’s so unfortunate about that? Unless you are in school for an MRS degree, as Unfaithfulicious points out, learning can be done regardless of the gender of the teacher or the learner.

I guess “unfortunate” is a subjective opinion of your situation. So without knowing the criteria, hard for any of us to disagree with your opinion. After all, opinions are like sex (gender), everyone has one, but there’s really no right/wrong about it.

So I guess you need to take some action to make some changes in your life. Unless you are in a very small school and have NO choices about classes, try these ideas on for size:

Ever consider a change of major which tends to be male dominated?

Or have you considered “scouting” out your course load/schedule for next term? Most schedule of class listings give the instructor’s name so you can be selective about which course and class sections to sign up for to get a better “male” teacher ratio.

Oh, well, just trying to help. Best wishes in your pursuits.

If it’s about qualification, male and female teachers are equally qualified. Traditionally, more females have entered teaching but it’s more even in high school.

If it’s because you like to look at men, go to the beach, a swimming pool, or sports events.

LOL… Why are you so upset about that? Unless you go to an all-girls school. School is for learning, not checking out male teachers, kiddo.

I have like 3 male teachers. >.> But it’s cool. Just think about school & do your homework.

Well, it’s life. It’s not like you go to school to see male teachers. It’s where you learn, not play around.

I guess it the luck of the draw. I would agree that male educators are more difficult to handle but you will thank them one day
