How to learn piano notes without a teacher?
I am a beginner, and i dont have a piano teacher cos it is costly. I know how to read notes for the treble and bass clef but i have difficulty telling when to play sharp/flat notes when there is a sharp/flat sign present in the music score sheet

I used to write them in, but that’s a cheat and won’t really help you.
Try the mantra system
Always B flat Always B flat (and hit the B flat as you say it) Always B flat
Then play the song and eventually you’re rote yourself into playing a B Flat
Always F sharp Always F sharp.
Always E Flat B Flat (play the notes) Always E Flat B Flat
You might even want to add the Key Signature but that might get too complicated.
Just do the Mantra when you open a sheet and see the flats or sharps.

You should train it everyday because it helps you remeber a lot of your lesson of piano. I learned guitar and I know it very much becaue I’ve ever spent it. Or you don’t know anything you can ask your teacher. I think that you should go to learn with teacher becaue they’ll learn everything about piano
