How do I properly cite this in an essay?
I’m trying to cite two different quotes from two different authors but I’m not sure how I do this. For example, let’s say the quotes are “the cat is gray” and “the dog is brown” and they are coming from two different sources. If I were to use the sentence: Mary was walking down the street and noticed that “the cat is gray” and yesterday she noticed that “the dog is brown.” How would you cite these quotes using APA format? Would you put cite the author, year, and page number right after the quote or until the very end?
