How can one be the best in english ?

I want to improve my english in highly qualified manners. Do you think that there is specific course for this. Like i see the hosts in BBC news channel etc. Their english is damn good.

I also want to be one of them.

Please help me and explain me what i should do for this.

I belief that if you tell me any specific course for this, that would be great.

The obvious would be to take English classes. I can’t be more specific about this because I don’t know where you’re from, what your first language is, where you are currently living or what your cognitive/current academic levels are.

My tip is to read a hell of a lot of books that are written in English. If you try to notice the punctuation and structure of sentences (not just the meaning of what is written), it will give you a good grounding in English grammar, spelling etc. Don’t bother with a lot of magazines, as the English usage is often poor, but stick to good quality newspapers (broadsheets). You can also listen to talking books as a very good way of learning pronunciations, diction and inflections.

The fact that you recognise that the English of the presenters of BBC news channels is good is encouraging. You should continue to watch them.

I don’t specifically know an A-1, perfect course for improving your English. Any good grammar course will help, so you can understand how the language is built – verb conjugations, adverb usage, etc.

I will suggest that you watch your input though. I have 4 children who all have great grammar. I screened their reading from birth up until high school. I didn’t allow poorly edited novels or those with dialect dialogue (like Mark Twain). They would just confuse grammar and speaking skills during developmental phases. As adults, if they care to read those examples of poor language usage, I find that is fine. They already know the right way, so the wrong way isn’t going to affect. I have a hard time reading things with poor grammar because I want to edit the book instead of reading for enjoyment or a point. I would suggest you find some well written books by asking an English teacher for some suggestions of books which use the language properly in addition to a good grammar program.

Best to you in your future career! Hope to hear you on the BBC.

Well, you do know that you can just go to High School. Lol jk. Um, not sure what you mean. If you mean a college class, then I have no idea. Because I’m only a sophomore. Sucks too. Um, let’s see, how about English Literature? Or is that in High School too? Well, can’t help you there, sorry!

I know this will sound silly but I have tried looking words up in the dictionary, a word or two a day.
