Do you think that a fifth of the United States really can’t locate american on a world map?

I’ve heard this a variety of times, and most recently on the Miss Teen USA contest. Do you believe these figures?

No

But I will say at least 10% can’t

MOST of the country couldn’t find South Dakota if their LIVES depended on it!

I know a NY high school graduate who thought Denmark was a City.

America is in a SAD state of affiars.

I, personally, have problems with identifying the BALTIC states.

Can you find Lithuania on a world map!

I sure can’t!

properly i’m going to in basic terms quote omit teen South Carolina – “some human beings have not got maps” which will clarify some issues. i ask your self if most of the polls are finished in most of the particular crimson neck factors, or is there somebody firing bozo rays from the moon.

I find that really hard to believe although the idiot girl who gave the answer should be demoted back to 6th grade and be taught how to put together a coherent thought and not make an *** out of herself on national TV and the judges who didn’t vote her last are even bigger idiots

I believe it, but only if they count infants in that statistic. And really miss South Carolina… you need a map too!

I’m sure it’s accurate. We Americans don’t really value these skills as much as other cultures.

american isn’t on a map – it’s an adjective, not a country
