This situation should make it obvious that you are the key factor in your learning. You should try to become your own best teacher. Your learning should NOT depend on a teacher, a book, or a school. When you become your own best teacher, then having a good teacher, book, or school are enhancements and resources you can better utilize. But becoming your own best teacher empowers you for the rest of your life. And, if you didn’t realize it already, learning doesn’t end with a diploma or a degree. Learning is a life long journey.

Learning takes place in and out of the classroom….day or night, on the job or at play…alone or with others…it can be formal or informal…24/7. But you and you alone are the key factor in your education.

The sub isn’t like your favorite teacher….but then, you probably aren’t like the sub’s favorite student either. So stop the “hate” stuff….focus on developing your ability to learn (by yourself, with others…including the sub). You may not think the sub is the best…maybe you think the sub isn’t any good…but if you can take the position that it is possible to learn from anyone…then use this sub to learn tolerance, patience, self-control, civility, courtesy…and tact. If you can do that, you can be a really good, decent human being…and you can help make this world a better place.

PS Why not get a greeting card for your favorite teacher and have as many members of the class sign it; and ask the sub to help get the card to your teacher.

About the sub, why not try to like her, rather than disliking her. It may affect your studies you know. Besides, the teacher you love wouldn’t want you to be like that, it’s not good hating other people. It’s just a mind setting. If you think you hate your sub, then most probably, you will never like her. Just try to appreciate her. Who knows, you might like her just as you like your fave teacher.

Don’t worry….Its not like ur teacher is never coming back! If you think about it…2 months and 8 weeks will pass in a click….

about ur sub…..try vey hard to deal with her…..i had a relly mean sub too and all i did was to stay out of her wae and act normal around her even though my hatred inside was buring inside meh just bcoz of her face! So yeh main point is..ur teacher is going to come bak and its gonna be all normal again…

3. Get suspended until your teacher comes back by messing with the sub you hate (the fun way to go out with a bang)

4. Hold through.

No way you can get the sub fired in anyway…just the fact of life, you will always meet people you don’t like and you just have to work with her.
