Any French teachers or students out there?

Bonjour!

I’m a student that will be taking french 2 this semester. I’m trying to study a little and prepare for french 2, especially since I forgot most of the things i learned during French 1. Can anyone give me a list of vocab. that is expected to be known and any other activities to help me out please?

Merci.

As a French teacher, the most comprehensive review book that I know of is published by Amsco and is called French First Year by Eli Blume & Gail Stein. On the Amsco website the book costs $10, but it’s probably available less expensively at ebay or half.com. (I just checked and it’s available for $2.99 plus shipping at half.com).

There is an entire chapter devoted to vocabulary review (which you mentioned). There are also chapters to review grammar, other vocabulary, and civilization.

Bonne chance, ma cherie.

It really depends on which textbook you use and if you are at the college or high school level. I would personally go to my public library and get a French for Dummies book just to review basic verb conjugations and basic grammar. You probably still have the vocabulary in your head somewhere, and it will come back to you as you start to immerse yourself in French. Also, you can always use a French-English dictionary for help.
