if you have never read The Uglies, PLEASE DO!! also, Stargirl, and Alcapone does my shirts are brilliant. Stargirl has alot deeper meaning then you may think though. So go over it with your english teacher (wayne paar = way-in-par = super average). it has alot of literarry elements, you may not understand on your own. Speak is good too

you can go onto Lexile.com and you should be able to search by lexile number.

You can also go to Scholastic ecatalog and type in the book you are interested in reading and check its lexile. Once the title of the book comes up, click on that book and it will bring you to the next screen, which has the Lexile Level. Hope this helps

If you know the title or author, try Amazon.com to see if it is out there as a used book. I have found some great books for $0.01 but the shipping and handling costs near $4.00. Some of the books were brand new too. Try it!

“The Land Of Elyon” trilogy, is not very large but it’s fun, I’m 11 and I enjoying it, I’m on the second book.

Good luck.
