alot of christian organizations go to africa, the secular ones..red cross, amnesty, e.t.c dont usually allow minors. It depends on the reasons you want to go to africa. Is it to help kids? see poor people and feel sorry for them? make yourself feel better? make yourself feel like you ‘ve done something good and are better than others? usually alot of people who want to volunteer, be missionaries in africa go there for all the wrong reasons. If you really really want to help, I think the poor people of africa would much rather you send the $1500 you would have spent on a plane ticket more than anything. This is what i’d recomend to you, dont go to africa to volunteer, to give aid, e.t.c, you can choose to be an exchange student, go and live with a kenyan, angolan, south africa, Tunisian, ethiopian, e.t.c family, live with them, learn their culture, some of their language, see their lives, and see the real Africa. Africa is not what you see on t.v, trust me, my family is portuguese kenyan, all my relatives,cousins, e.t.c all live in africa, they’ve lived there for 300+ years, we visit about 3x a year.

my school normally take a European tour with them but they might go to Africa too.

It isn’t really volunteer work but just touring.

And you need a teacher and other students who are willing to go.
