People to people?

I got some kind of people to people invitation to go somewhere or something. I’m kinda guessing this is just some way to get money out of rich kid’s parents. Is it true? Or is this a genuine enterprise….?

I went on people to people last year and really alot of programs are just trying to get your money, this program was way to touristy for me and we were always on the go but i did make alot of good friends. If you are in the age of 15 or 16 right now, i suggest you to go on a studies program such as oxbridge or oxford advanced studies program they are really pricey, but you are able to truely experience the culture and university plus it looks nicer on your transcript for college.

It’s mostly genuine. Your parents aren’t supposed to pay for it all. The students chosen are supposed to fundraise some of it on their own. I was going to go to australia two years ago through them but it was like 6,000 dollars and I had less than a year to raise it. I heard from other people who went that it was a great experience. You get to meet government officials and share your culture with people in other countries. It was started by president dwight. I do think its a little expensive though. And they are very professional… I’m talkin dresscode and you have to have a natural hair color. I had blue streaks and they told me they had to go 🙁
