Take your glasses. That way, you can try to pass the vision test without them and not have a restriction put on your permit. If you wear contacts, then they will automatically put the “corrective lenses” restriction on.

If you’re prescription is -1.5D or more, you’ll need the glasses anyway, so it doesn’t matter if you wear your contacts or not.

I suggest this because the charge for driving without glasses is “driving without a license.” Why have the restriction if you can pass the test uncorrected?

Of course, wear your correction anyway when you’re driving so you’ll be safe (along with the rest of us)!

either should be fine as long as both have up to date prescriptions and you are able to read the letters inside the little box. i suggest wearing which ever is the most comfortable for you. After you get your permit and license it doesnt matter which you wear…as long as you are wearing one or the other because they put on the back of them that you need corrective lenses!

hope this helps and good luck on your test!!!

Use whichever you will use while you are driving, since you will have to tell them you wear glasses anyway.

Shouldn’t really matter, don’t they both give your eyes the same vision?
