How would you write this sentance?

I was immediatly greeted in an upbeat and friendly manner as I entered the restaurant.

or

I was immediatly greeted, in an upbeat and friendly manner, as I entered the restaurant.

The first one is correct. It is a complete sentence and has no need for commas.

First of all, don’t forget to spell check… Immediately… The first sentence posted is just fine. There are too many commas in the second sentence.

I was immediately greeted in an upbeat and friendly manner as I entered the restaurant. = Correct!
