Should i swap English lit&lang for RE?

I am doing AS Level in the UK, i got 2As in my GCSEs for English and got an A* for RE in my GCSE. Well im facing a dilemna, i am a bit bored of the English lit&lang, but i heard the RE course is harder for AS level.

I want to enter pharmacy after my A levels. (Biology, Chemistry, English lit&lang/RE?, Sociology)

PS. i dont want to take both subjects.

RE is important, but not as useful as English. I know you don’t want to take both, but the benefits are good – it’ll be worth it in the long run. And if you are good at both, it’ll be a breeze. But if you are faced with only picking one, I’d suggest English.

That was my opinion, hope it helps.

RE teachers are notorious for being sub-standard, I personally have never had a good one. English lit is an awesome subject, I personally think it has been alot more rewarding to me than RE.

Edit: Professionally RE could be an asset to you in understanding and dealing with people of various religions.
