when is the dead line to write the gre exam for falls 2008?????

i would lie to pursue in biotech field and i know a good gre score is vital.. i wud like to apply for the semesters beginning by august -september…so when would be the deadline to take the gre test for the falls and also the duration needed for processing the applications after the test… what else wud the colleges look for..like a good percentage in our previous tenure in studies.. and how much? also i hav heard about reccomendations… cos i sadly have none… bcos i am currrently in usa in an h2 visa and there is no chance of me goin in the near future to my country to get a reccomendation letter.. is it necessary? what are the other criterias they look for…pls help!!!!!

You are not going to be able to get into graduate school without recommendations, period. Schools require them. If you need them from your home country start writing letters and trying to contact people.

Yes, you do need to do well on the GRE. I hope you don’t mind me saying it looks like you need to work on your English. I would recommend maybe getting a tutor or having a friend go over your writing with you. Start reading books in English as often as you can, this will improve your writing.

Beyond that, your grades and experience are important

study books and Journals and use a be conscious checklist or dictionary to help with words you could no longer decide. the only way you will retian the recent vocabulary is that in case you notice it in context. attempt utilising the words with a pal who knows you attempt to strengthen your vocab (so they do no longer think of you’re extraordinary). ultimately, attempt to narrate the meanings and words to issues you already understand, you want quite a few exposures to new materiial earlier it is going to become long term expertise. Goodluck, you will do fantastic.
