my teacher has something against me?

i sware i think she’s trying to fail me. we only got about four more days of school left this semester till im out of her class but she has dropped my grade way down. whenever i ask her questions, she’s like you should know that, or you weren’t paying attention and never answers them when i do pay attention. she may not like me bc well we do have a really bad class, but i really try to pay attention, and also i sit with a group of kids who are always talking and disrupting class, but im never talking with them. once after she graded ws’s out of our workbooks for completion, i asked my friend what pages we were supposed to do for classwork, so i gave her my wb so she could circle all the pages we were supposed to do. my teacher comes by, assumes im cheating and only takes up mine for the rest of the day. assigns five wb pages due at end of class and about twenty min later i ask for mine back and she said no and that i got 5 zeros. she finally gave it back to me 2 days later.

You have to go to her and admit that you’re wrong so that you’ll get the upper hand. You’ll be able to control her but she’ll think that you know you’re wrong (even if you weren’t). Everything you say has to be polite and careful.

Go up to her and ask her if you can have a progress report (grade, with a list of individual grades on all assignments). Then, tell her that you know you weren’t paying attention and working as hard as you could’ve been (even if it isn’t true) and tell her you wanna make up all the work. If she says no, say that you’re willing to redo the work for partial credit (anything is better than a 0). And then, you have to tell her that you’ll do better and work harder, and you need to raise up your grade first. (but don’t say it in a threatening voice)

First, tell your parents about this. If her class is bad she probably isn’t the best teacher anyways because she doesn’t know how to have class control. Have your parents call like tomorrow and tell them everything!

If this doesn’t work go to the Assistant Principal. Where I teach, there is an AP over every department and believe me if your parents get involved as well as Administration, it won’t happen anymore. If this is true, she’s not a good teacher and it sounds like she works your class today instead of teaching which is what she’s supposed to do in the first place!

Talk to your Guidance counselors or principal, and see if they can help you, or get you a new class, or teacher.
