I think “i can’t hardly wait” is the more imperative of the two. They are both probably correct but “I can hardly wait” sounds a bit higher class to me.

I can hardly wait is correct, the other “I can’t hardly wait?” is contradictary.
You can however say I can’t wait and it will mean the same thing as I can hardly wait.
