I was there for this one, so I know. It was in the eleventh race at Adequeduct, and the chicken was the 20 to one favorite. Out of the post, the chicken had a strong lead, running along not quite so fast as a chicken with its head cut off, but fast enough to outpace the egg. The egg was rolling as fast as it possibly could, but it’s non-spherical shape made steering difficult. Around the clubhouse turn, the chicken looked like an easy winner, clucking happily and headed for the wire, when a greyhound from the previous race ran back onto the track and chased the chicken off the field, and into the next county. The egg finally crossed the finish line first late the next afternoon, just in time to be served with notice of a formal protest of the race results from the chicken’s attorneys.

So we really don’t know yet. Stay tuned. Film at eleven.

Why, when we try to describe what something tastes like, do we say, “It tastes like chicken”, except noone ever describes the egg as tasting like chicken….. maybe the egg isn’t really a chicken after all. Have you ever seen a chicken come out of an egg

PROBABLY NOT! I only see chickens come out of KFC boxes, and KFC never sells eggs.

So, if you really want to know the answer to the question, you should spy on your local KFC late at night to see where the chicken comes from.

All joking aside, if you are an evolutionist, you can come up with all sorts of theories, and probably not offer any definite proof.

If you believe the Bible, and that God created man and all the living creatures, then you would also understand that He did not create Adam as a baby because he was responsible to take care of himself. And I would imagine the other animals were supposed to fend for themselves also.

So, all the animals (including man and chicken) were probably created as mature, able to take care of themsleves.

But, just in case, you might watch KFC at night.

Well, if you’re a Christian, you’d have to say chicken as all God’s creatures were created together and fully alive at the time. However, should you not be a Christian, one could argue that there would be no chickens without an egg coming first. If you’re an evolutionist, you could say some mutant frog fish laid the first chicken egg, in which case, again, the egg comes first.

They were both created at the same time. The chicken to care for the egg, and the egg to produce the chicken.

Hmmm…
This thought dives me NUTS! I’d say the Big Bang Theory! Meaning when God created the earth in 7 days he dropped a chicken on it too!

Do you know which came first?

They do not specify in this question if it is, in fact, a chicken egg. Dinosaurs came before chickens, and some dinosaurs laid eggs. Therefore, the egg came first.
