Next time you want to save something for the first time, click on SAVE AS and it will show you where it is going to put the saved file.

the thing is the computer findes a space somewere ,anywere on C: drive that is the same size as the document like if you pack the boot (trunk) of the car to go on holiday and then say where is my overnight bag? answer it’s in the boot (C: drive) but the computer will find it for you if you tell it the name of the document like saying find me the (snoopy overnight bag) hope this helps.

steps:

-go to the start menu

-click search

-type in the document’s name

-it will search

it should come up and you will notice that you saved it in a folder that you didn’t want to save it. always double-check its the folder you wanted it in
