I didnt study for TOEFL at all that seriosly, I had borrons, peterson’s and langman to study (which as I said were almost left intact) and i just got know that the test is to be an internet based one only 4 days before exam but i did well in toefl and scored 100/120…my suggestion is take some tests from those books i mentioned above if you did 80% right, you dont need to study @ all just theres this book called the practical writer readings” by Edward Baily and “sample essays for toefl” which you need to take a look at just to make sure how you should write an essay…BTW if you listening or speaking is weak you’ll benefit from listening sections of both barrons and peterson’s…good luck

Depends on how good your english is already. I recently gave TOEFL and just prepared for it on a weekend. I would say my English is good, but even then I did prepare just so I have an idea of what to expect. I borrowed a TOEFL book from the library, and it was more than sufficient. It had examples, sample papers etc. So I would say go for that !
