study problems, please help? SPM!?
i have this major exam in like 1 month +. And I don’t think I’ll get a good result with the way I am now. So, I know I have to study and revise. But, ..ugh! I’m too lazy! It’s hard. I need something to motivate me to study. Some advice, tips, or whatever please?

OK just close your eyes. Picture your self flipping burgers for long years to come. living on welfare and working for long hours for mere $7.50 an hour. Imagine students your age in India and china are leading in our schools and Universities…imagine your self working under them…….motivation will come automatically.

Take a piece of paper. Write the name of the course and “EXAM” at the top. Write the date you’ll be doing the exam. Then write the mark you’d like on it. THAT is what you are working towards. Post it somewhere visible. Make more than one copy, if you need to, so that you’ll brainwash yourself. Every time you see it, you should be thinking about what it’ll take for you to get that grade. You might not be able to sit down that instant and study, but it’ll at least have you decide when you will study.
As your motive for studying becomes your focus, you’ll have your motivation. Yes, you’ll probably still have to force yourself, at least in the beginning, and this can be a hard change to make. But think of it this way: you can choose to NOT do well and avoid studying or you can choose to work towards that goal and study. It’s a choice. Be conscious of the fact that each time you push aside your study time, you are ACTIVELY choosing to not do as well as you’d like.
