should i switch out of honors precalc?

currently, i’m scheduled to take honors pre-calc but i’m not sure if i should take…

1.) honors pre-calculus

or

2.) regular pre-calc

whenever we have to choose which math class to take (honors or reg.) for the nxt year.. my teacher always says i’m on the fence and can decide which class to take.. and i’ve always taken the honors path but every year i struggle with C’s…

do colleges like honors classes but with C’s or reg classes but with A’s/B’s?

should i switch or stay?!

colleges would rather u take a slightly easier class and get an A than a harder class and get a C. it just shows u know u know how to make the best decion and make the best of it.

actually, i was going to take pre-cal, but i heard from my friend who just graduated that prob/stat is easier in high school and harder in college, while pre-cal & cal. are harder in high school and easier in college…

so i’m taking prob/stat now and pre-cal & cal later. And i’m only taking an honors course that i know i can get an A in and was recomended to take it by my teachers.

good luck 🙂

If you’re getting C’s in honors classes, you should switch out.

Not only will the C bring down your GPA, but the class will also sap your efforts from other classes and bring down those grades as well.
