17 is a difficult age. Your are on the fringes of adulthood and yet still a teenager, your gf is pregnant and horror of horrors your car is broken. It would be safe to say that you are depressed as you suggested. Is there anyone you can talk to? Help you sort your problems out. How about your Mum? You need to get some support and advice from somewhere. Most schools have a guidance counsellor. Why not speak to them. Yes it is very important that you continue to go to school. You know you will be sorry later if you don’t. Do something now so that you at least have a chance to catch up and don’t think you will get into big trouble. People, including your folks will appreciate you turning to them for help. It takes a Man to do that and I know you can do it. Face your problems, don’t hide or run away from them. As far as a pregnant g/f, don’t know what to tell you….but abortion is always an option. You’re way too young to have kids already, and having a g/f, and a kid w/o a diploma…you might as well forget about having a future.

Car’s an easy fix….take it to the mechanic.
