Any suggestions for high school project ideas to do in my free time?
I want this project to be done over a span of about like 1-2 yrs

You may want to join an organized volunteer agency & accomplish a lot with other people. *Be the Change!* is a book telling about loads of volunteer opportunities.
If you’re more individual, you could do the equivalent of a Scout Eagle project: find a weakness in your community that needs solving, that concerns you, & that you have “heart” (ganas) for. Start asking what has been done about the issue already, if anything. Google or ask us for ideas to help the project along. Then, plan & implement the project. It could be alone, or you could be a volunteer director of others…whatever role suits you the best.
