Should I Drop Out of Highschool and return to Alternative Education where i know i get better marks?

i’m 16

i havent been to traditional school for about 2 years..until now

last year i havent been attending traditional school…instead i have been taking online courses, where i just stay at home

with that my marks are the highest i got ever in highschool , when i go to traditional school my marks were low , like 50-60%

but on online-courses i got 80% avg.

and i find that i learn better and more

the only bad thing about online courses is that theres no social contact, but this year i registered for night school so that solves the problem of being lonely

so should i drop out of traditional school, i hava hard time trying to learn there plus i am already having bad attendance (like always)

You do well on online school because there is no *attendance.*

You are doing bad in high school because you dont show up. THAT is why you are 20-30% lower. Show up and youll ace it!

Now, that you’ve figure out that it’s best for you to do online schooling, here’s a suggestion. Volunteer at different nonprofit organizations in your town during the day. Find local homeschool networks through your public library and start up your own interest-related events. There are over 1 million homeschooled students in the usa. Another thing you might consider is making a list of your interests and perhaps a career you are thinking about. Now, is there a place locally where you can apprentice to dive deeper within your interests? Talk with those who are already doing what you want to do. The world is your classroom. Use it to the fullest. It’s totally up to you to decide when you will learn and how you choose to learn.

Public school isn’t the best choice for everybody. I know a guy who remained in alternative school from 7th grade until he graduated simply because, like yourself, he did so much better there, grade-wise.

Do what’s best for yourself. If you “learn better and more” in alternative school — that’s where you should be.

You can have social contact other ways. Age-wise, you’ve hit the mark of now being able to enter the job force. How about trying a part-time job? Make a little cash while you interact 🙂

It relies upon on the position you stay and what type of relatives you got here from and only diverse distinct elements. i understand a lawyer who had 3 childrens about my age. they began the college about an same time I did. between the youngsters, the girl, went on to regulation college. between the sons grew to change right into a wellbeing care professional. The 0.33 son did not like the college and end after one 365 days, and grew to change right into a Plumber and has his own organization, married, and has a gaggle of youngsters, and he’s the happiest of all 3 childrens and doing ok! Many trades like plumbing, or computing gadget restoration paintings do properly!

I graduated from an alternative school, and as long as you finnish your schooling, that’s what matters. Nobody cares about the difference from a GED or a High School Diploma anymore, which is good because either way it shows you’re not a quitter.

ok, if you want to go to college (which i highly reccomend) online highschool doesn’t have any credits.

go talk to your parents and look together at the local schools. if you can’t find any schools that will help, see if you can get a tutor.

oh, and sylvan really does help (no, i don’t go there)
