Should I change my high school in my senior year?! (please give me an answer by today!)?

in my freshman year, i was in a public school. But I changed to another public school for my sophomore year (this school was academically so much better). In my sophomore year, i did not have any friend, nor i did not have a good relationship with teachers. Only thing excellent about this school was it has so many honors and APs and has such high rate of students’ acceptances into Ivy Leagues. Anyway, I changed this academically excellent school to another school. this time, it was private school. I like the kids they are nice and all and some of the teachers. I have two positions in Newspaper and sorority club. and my community service hour is really good. But, my grade wasn’t good. I got 3.0 in my Junior year and this private school doesn’t have lots of honors and APs, just few. Since this school is religious school, I guess students don’t really get accepted to competitive colleges. Also the college counselor isn’t good. I only care about going in to college now. Shld I chang skool?

Maybe you can go back to the school you attended during your sophomore year, or maybe you can just find another public school that has good academics. Or it might be too late in the game to change your schools though–most of the schools in the nation will have been started by Labor Day.

The school that you went to doesn’t predict what college you are going to get into. Your grades, activities and classes are what do that. Why does a competitive college have to be an Ivy league college? What is wrong with a regular university such as University of WA or University of GA?

Only change schools if your grades aren’t good. 3.0 is not bad but do you think you could do better at a different school and if so maybe you should change.

I changed schools in the middle of my 8th grade year…and it was really hard. I did much better academically, but since I changed in the middle of the year and the students had such a tight-knit (the school was K-8, so many of the students knew each other for MANY years) I didn’t make many new friends….But that was ok with me. The next year I went to the feeder high school and there were PLENTY of new people to meet. 3.0 is really good, especially in junior year….that was the hardest year in my school and private schools are usually harder than public schools…..

So the choice is up to you ….What ever your decision may be, I wish you good luck!

You should probably stay where you are. Changing schools to many times looks bad on your transcripts. If you enjoyed the honors classes and the AP classes why did you change schools. You say your going to a religious school and that students who go to religious schools don’t get into ivy league colleges. I’d like to know who your talking to? I went to a catholic school and most of my graduating class was headed back east to the ivy leagues. Some stayed home and went to schools such as USC, Berkley and Stanford. Sometimes it’s what you make of it and a 3.0 is nothing to be ashamed of.

all of us slacked off all day of daily. I never studied till the night in the previous a attempt/examination throughout my senior 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of high school (which became in basic terms like 3 years in the past). I additionally never did comments or term papers till the night in the previous besides, consistently controlled to get a minimum of a “B” on those papers. in basic terms type I had a topic with became Chem and Physics, you already know, the learning I even have never and could no longer ever use.

I think you said it yourself. You only care about going to college, so go with the school that you would have the better chance to do that.
