The D you stated will almost always come out a little flat, because most students drop their jaw to get those notes out right. It will just take time. As for the G, it may be a leak. Push your teacher to get the horn fixed immediately, or just get it fixed yourself. The other person gave great advice, go rent one from a store. They are better maintained, and usually even have a repair policy.

hi, I play the Soprano Sax, and that i used to play the Clarinet. yet easily, i does no longer do the Clarinet, because of the fact Saxophones sound greater advantageous, and you do no longer hear of in call for Clarinetists. I desire the Soprano, yet my brother performs the Alto Sax. It relies upon.Soprano is greater durable, yet makes a greater physically powerful noise. i don’t be attentive to plenty with regard to the Tenor, yet i be attentive to that the Alto is the curvy one and makes a deeper noise. The Soprano I play is promptly, yet pass on youtube, seek up Kenny.G or Dave Koz and decide what you desire to do.

Try tuning it or getting someone to do it for you. Or if its really messed up go buy your own or find a shop that actually rents it to you. School instruments always suck
