Im worried?

If you go look at my last question you will see. I posted it in “mental health” and noone is being sensible. Maybe some of you will understand it better. Maybe some teachers on here? I dont want to dress tommorow and I dont know what im going to say as an excuse. Havent dressed since. I cant even switch classes. Can my parents come and talk to the counselor at the school? The student counselor or whatever? Im to shy and embarassed. My mom understands what im going through and she can explain it better than I can. I get around people and cant talk because I have social anxiety sorta. Should I just tell him that “my parents are gonna talk to the counselor to see if they can get me switched out of this class today or tommorow”? I mean I can excersise at home and save time being embarassed. Because when I am particapating I cant focus. Like playing football or b-ball. I always miss the ball or fake like I couldnt catch it and drop it.

I assume you are concerned about getting undressed in your phys ed (physical education or gym class) and I can understand your reluctance. My son was the same way. Exercising is very important and you should take it with an instructor for best results. Exercising at home might be an option, but it is an option that usually is not carried out. Good intentions, but lack of motivation will do you no good and it will happen if you exercise at home. It won’t last long. I think you just need some encouragement in your abilities and getting your self-esteem grounded. And kids can be so cruel. I understand, I understand, I understand. But if you don’t step up to the plate and try for the home-run on your own, you will be sorry in the future. From my personal point of view, once you begin to stand up for yourself by yourself you will greatly improve your ability to face obstacles. Talk to the student counselor on your own. AND counselors are trained to be able to help you with problems. Don’t fear! Face! And I wish you all the luck in the world!
