Ok I am in the 8th grade and my graduation is at the end of the school year. I know that a ways away, but I was just wondering what they did at graduations. What do they do?

This is day where students will be recognized for their achievements and accomplishments. Awards and Certificates will b given out to students who had outstanding recognition during the year.
It is the final gathering of all 8th graders who will b venturing off to a new beginning in high school.
Parents, friends and family are invited to come and show their support and take wonderful photos.
There may be a special guest speaker who will speak to the graduating class about “moving forward” in the world.
It is an anxious, exciting and emotional event.

You’ll have a robe on during the ceremony. If you are planning on going out after the ceremony to have a little fun, go ahead and dress up in something light weight so that when you take off the robe you won’t be sweaty. Light and classy is the way to go!
