it’s good to have a high GPA

but colleges also like to see that you’re challenging yourself with a few AP’s

it shows that you’re willing to try and follow through with it

so really just do your best! don’t get lazy either AP’s are hard…so don’t go overboard and sign up for more than you can handle…

I’d have to go with the medium GPA and AP classes:

AP classes are usually weighted, so a medium gpa in an AP class would be about 4.0 (low/medium B’s). So, even if you get low B’s, you’re still getting what someone in an honors class would be getting with straight A’s.

With AP classes comes the exams, which gets you college credit.

AP classes are looked upon by colleges and universities higher than honors classes.

Man GPAs are just whatever. It’s all about those AP credits!!! I got 3 credits in psychology, 3 in english and 3 in environmental science. Do whatever you can to take as many AP tests as possible (but only ones you think you’ll get a 3 or higher on… I took chemistry and got a 1!!! hahahaha)

I took all IB classes (which are weighted like AP) and I don’t think it made a difference at all. Colleges look at your unweighted GPA, not your weighted.

Ahhh… but you cannot get into AP classes without good grades…. you need to be pulling at least a 3.5 to even consider going on to a good college…. many UC schools now require a 3.9!!! SO… take the AP courses, but aim for a 3.0 or higher… so it will bring up your GPA average.

once you’re transfering from a community college to a 4 12 months college then the colleges will very possibly no longer even look at your extreme college gpa. in case you do word to a college that asks to your HS transcripts they’re going to probable think with regards to the actuality which you probably did lots greater appropriate in college.

medium gpa with aps

because it shows that you go for more challenging stuff and colleges like to see that

If you’re like me, I would always before the better grade. AP gives you college credit, but why settle for a lesser grade?

as long as you have decent, not bad grades with ap classes, you should stick with those. colleges like to see that you are challenging yourself, not taking lower classes to have a higher gpa.

good luck!
