Do you think that its good to take up a sport in high school?

i mean that if you take a sport will it provide u more credit. Like when u apply for a scholarship for UC ( University of California). Will they look for a extra activity?

You know, life is too short to be thinking like that. If you enjoy a sport, do it. They’ll chose someone who does what they enjoy doing and is passionate about life.

I don’t know if you will get credits but taking a sport in school

is a great idea. That’s more important than the credit. I took

Archery in high school and enjoyed it immensely. I don’t

know if that can still be taken today. We’re talking 50 years

ago. There was also basketball. Whatever you are good at

or would like to learn will be good for you in every way. Good

luck and hope you do get a scholarship. : }

Any “extra” activity will help when you apply for a scholarship. However, don’t base your decision solely on that. If you enjoy the sport- do it! If you don’t, find another activity (clubs, debating, volunteering) that you enjoy.

language classes and other classes would be better, but anything will help.
