If I take my PSATs as a sophmore can I take it again as a junior?

Also, after I take my PSATs in my sophmore year can I take my SATs in my sophmore year as well? And if I can, can I still take the PSATs in my junior year.

The reason I want to do this is so that I can try for the national merit scholorship…

just wondering..

Yes you can take the PSAT twice and take your SATs at any time. I have taken PSATs sophomore and junior year and I have friends who have done the same and taken the SAT both years as well. Good Luck!

Yes, you can take the PSAT again in your junior year if you take it during your sophomore year. For the SAT, you can take it on any test date you want. You don’t have to take the PSAT before you take the SAT. But most students take the PSAT before they take the SAT to see how they will do and if they need to prep more. I would recommend you not to take the SAT in your sophomore year because colleges see all your SAT scores. So why don’t you just prep more and take it in your junior year to get a better score. Getting a good score on your first try can be a real plus.
