If you are or were a teacher, would you lose respect for a student if they dropped out of school?

Would you still like them as a person?

I personally don’t think dropping out is a big deal. You can always get some sort of job.

I don’t think I would lose respect for them… if they were a person I had liked beforehand, I wouldn’t like them any less. I may be disappointed in their choices, though. Graduating high school opens the door to many more job oppurtunities.

Hope this helps!

As a former teacher, of course, I would be disappointed. But if you look at it from the teacher’s side, she probably sees about 200 students a day. Asking her to take a personal interest is sometimes asking too much. So, instead, I’m going to ask you to take a personal interest in yourself. Getting “some sort of job” when you are 40, married with children and a house note doesn’t cut it. So it doesn’t matter if I like you or if I think you’re pond scum. Stay in school not for me (or your teacher) but for yourself. If you are having difficulty, seek out a counselor or someone to give you some extra help but do NOT drop out. Even if it seems difficult or pointless, don’t leave.

I wish you the absolute best.

Teachers deal with so many students, I don’t know if they would even care. And you can like someone as a person but not respect their choices. I think dropping out is pretty stupid, high school is much better than real life.

that’s usually an quite gentle container for any and all in touch. no count if what extremely got here about became as quickly as misconstrued or actual. If no longer something has been interior the archives, and you have have been given have been given no longer something from the faculty, furnish it a on an identical time as in the past than pursuing it greater. it may additionally be that your son is prevalent with of a few subject approximately what is going on although has been asked to stay silent interior the interim, or he’s working by using it in his own potential – a sign of adulthood. There might additionally be some authorized issues in touch. shop an ear & a watch fixed open, besides the certainty that, and if youin case you pay attention rumors, ask your son as quickly as greater what he’s accustomed to approximately the downside. once you’re very in touch, touch the faculty on the instant, although be arranged for a common, independent commentary that may no longer respond many questions!

There are a lot of reason why a person might drop out of school. Learning disabilities that no one has noticed, need for work, lack of proper teaching or care from the school system, family problems, pregnancy, etc.

I would try as a teacher to find out why they dropped out and try to help them if possible.

IF the student was dropped out of school for a serious reason then I would not like him. neither like nor dislike.

If s/he was a good student, hard working and understand the meaning of respect, then I would not disrespect that person.

And yes you can always get a job at Mc donalds, KFC, Mr. Burger, subway, petrol pumps etc etc. 🙂
