But let me ask you this, is it worth it to be the youngest person in your grade, and perhaps know the least because you are not entirely prepared for 6th grade. Or is it better to be the smartest, brightest, most mature, and most prepared person in 5th grade. This is how you can eventually become valedictorian of your graduating class.

If you are truly bored with your classes, then find some ways to extend your education. Take dance classes, piano lessons, art classes, etc. You will also have the opportunity to start participating in extracurricular activities at school soon.

I’m not sure of your motivation to skip a grade, but there are better solutions.

You can’t skip just because you(and your mom) ask for it.

They just won’t allow it.

I could of been put into 4th grade when I was in 3rd grade, but I decided not too because I didn’t want to be the youngest in the class.
